A Yvonne Brye Vela is a seasoned international business professional with over 30 years of experience in government, nonprofit, and industry sectors. As Trade Compliance Manager at Google LLC, she uses her expertise in international trade compliance to keep the company in compliance with international regulations. Before joining Google, Yvonne worked at Microsoft and several tech start-ups where she managed trade compliance, exports and sanctions.

Yvonne is an active member of several organizations, including the World Trade Center of Denver, Silicon Valley Black Chamber of Commerce, Women in International Trade – Northern California (WIT-NC), and the Professional Association of Importers and Exporters. She also has a strong commitment to international Trade and the global community and has worked with UNESCO, Healing Hands for Haiti, and Cure International.

Yvonne holds a B.A. from Boston University and a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. She is fluent in English, French, and German and, most importantly, is a proud mother to three amazing young adults.
