Description

This course provides an overview of how AI tools are being used across business functions, with a focus on applications relevant to compliance, shipping, and logistics teams. Participants will explore common use cases, benefits, risks, and governance considerations when incorporating AI into operational workflows.

James Ensminger, Managing Director

James Ensminger is a Managing Director at Protiviti and a global leader on the firm’s Microsoft Partnership and Delivery Team, bringing 25 years of experience shaping and executing Protiviti’s Microsoft strategy. He leads partnership alignment, go‑to‑market initiatives, and delivery excellence across key solution areas, while working closely with Microsoft to drive national solution and market programs. James oversees account management, solution innovation, and execution, integrating Microsoft technologies into Protiviti’s consulting offerings to help clients modernize operations, increase agility, and achieve meaningful business and technical outcomes.

Lucas Manganaro, Managing Director

Lucas Manganaro is a Managing Director at Protiviti and leads the Supply Innovation Practice, bringing more than 20 years of experience across supply chain, procurement, and business transformation. He began his career as an entrepreneur, founding and later selling a retail and wholesale supply and services company before obtaining his MBA. Lucas then spent 14 years at IBM Consulting, holding progressive leadership roles including leading the Procurement Consulting business and the Supply Chain Consulting business for North America, as well as the Finance and Supply Chain Transformation Service Line for the Distribution sector. Throughout his career, he has focused on outcomes‑driven transformation initiatives across planning, procurement, and distribution, leveraging technology to drive revenue protection, margin expansion, and improved top‑ and bottom‑line performance.
