Early in my career, I ran the North American Tech practice for Edelman Public Relations including Apple, working directly with Steve Jobs. I left Edelman and moved to Colorado to open an office for GCI Group working with Michael Dell and the Dell Enterprise tech team. Also led a global rollout of an online learning platform for Oracle, worked with Larry Ellison writing ads, and as an Account Manager at Young & Rubicam, I developed the first Intuit logo with Scott Cook. In addition, to my work experience, I earned my Bachelor of Science in Journalism from California Polytechnic State University and as an avid climber and mountaineer, summited Mount Everest in 2012.

Engineer by trade and marketer at heart, Laurel Burton is an EVP of Account Strategy at global marketing agency, JSA. Notably, she is actively overseeing the rebrand and reimagination of the World Trade Centers Association, globally. Laurel is passionate about helping global businesses gain a competitive edge with their brand, marketing, sales, product, and positioning strategies. She has spent the last 20+ years collaborating with brands worldwide to build memorable, revenue-generating go-to-market strategies that drive interest and opportunity.
Prior to JSA Laurel served as VP of Marketing and Product Management for Otava, a leader in compliant cloud and colocation services. Previously she was VP of Marketing at Faction, a cloud service provider, VP of Marketing and Business Development at ViaWest (now Flexential), a large data center and managed services provider, and she held leadership positions at Qwest Communications.
In her recent past Laurel also owned and managed a Fractional CMO agency that successfully helped transform organizations of all sizes into thriving powerhouses. Clients included: World Trade Center, Denver, Optiv, Synoptek, Otava, Aligned Energy, IQ Wired, Nuvalo, Neudesic, Morpheus Data and more.

Craig Maginness, managing member of ExIn Global Strategies and is a sought-after speaker, teacher and adviser for start-up entrepreneurs and businesses looking to grow into new markets. Craig spent much of his career at a Fortune 1000 company, overseeing international operations, directing sales and marketing, and serving as president of two of the company’s foreign subsidiaries. Over the past 18 years he has launched and run four different small businesses of his own and has partnered with other entrepreneurs to launch their businesses in a variety of fields including real estate, financial services, alternative health care, fashion design and manufacturing, and wedding and event planning.
